Confirming a rave

Confirm on site that a rave is really happening, with location permission, within about 150 metres.

For guests

Raves rely on the community confirming them. A confirmation tells others: something is really going on here.

Requirements

  • You are signed in.
  • You have granted the app location permission.
  • You are on site, within about 150 metres of the rave.

Without location permission, confirming isn’t possible, not even from home. That’s deliberate: a confirmation from afar wouldn’t be one.

How to

  1. Open the rave in the app.
  2. Tap Confirm.
  3. The app checks your location and counts your confirmation.

“You are not nearby”

Your device location is too imprecise or you are further away after all. Enable GPS, step outside briefly and try again.

The opposite: the rave is fake

Then don’t confirm, report it, under the same rules. See Reporting a rave.
