What data Let’s Rave stores
Account, location, tickets, messages: what lives where, who can read what and what you control yourself.
The full overview is in the privacy policy. Here’s the short version of what you want to know day to day.
Account and profile
Email address, username, avatar, genres, artist profile, friends and follows. Profile data lives in a database in the EU (Supabase) with access rules that define who may see what.
Location
Your postcode is stored only on your device. Your device location is used for the map and for confirming raves and isn’t stored permanently. Location sharing with friends is off by default; you decide who sees you.
Tickets and payments
We store your tickets and orders. We never see card data; payment happens at Stripe and we only receive the confirmation. Records of purchases must be kept for the statutory period, even after account deletion; they are then detached from your person.
Messages
Direct and collective chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Only the participants or members may read them, and only after signing in with the code from the email. We as the operator can technically read them. So don’t treat a chat as a confidential channel for particularly sensitive details. Your data export contains your messages in readable form. More in The recovery key no longer exists.
Notifications and emails
Push runs via Firebase (Google). Emails are sent by Brevo (EU) on our behalf, from the sending domain send.lets-rave.com.
Analytics
The web app uses Google Analytics only with your consent in the “error analysis” category. This help site uses cookieless, self-hosted audience measurement with no personal data.
Your rights
Access, export and deletion: Deleting your account or exporting your data. Privacy contact: contact@lets-rave.com.
