Deleting your account or exporting your data

Deleting your account

You delete your account yourself in the app: open your Profile, tap Edit profile and then Delete account. Tick the box and confirm with Delete my account. Your account is blocked immediately and you are signed out.

If you can no longer get into the app, write to us at contact@lets-rave.com. Before we delete anything, we check that the request really comes from you, with a confirmation code sent to your account’s email address. The sender of an email alone is not enough.

Two things to know:

• Retention. Records of ticket purchases must be kept for the statutory period. They are detached from you, so they no longer reference your person.
• Grace period. After confirmation, the account is locked and permanently deleted after 30 days. During that time you can still cancel the deletion by writing to us.

Note: Are you the only admin of a collective or organization? Hand over the role first, otherwise the group is left without an admin.

Exporting your data

You download your data export while signed in to the app: Support → Help & Contact → Download data export. You get a ZIP with PDF (readable) and JSON (machine-readable). It includes your profile, settings, follows, friends, attendance, tickets, support requests, notifications and collective messages. Key material is never included, only the note that it exists.

If you can no longer get into the app, write to us at contact@lets-rave.com. Because the export also contains your messages in readable form, it only goes to your account’s email address, and only after you have confirmed the request with a confirmation code sent to that address.

Just want to unsubscribe from the newsletter?

No deletion needed: turn off Settings → Notifications → Email (newsletter) or use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
