What does a ticket cost? The booking fee
Ticket price plus booking fee, shown before you pay. What it consists of and who receives it.
At checkout you see the ticket price and, below it, the booking fee. It is shown before payment; nothing is added afterwards.
What the fee consists of
- Platform share: 7 % of the ticket price, at least €0.50 per ticket. This is what runs Let’s Rave.
- Payment processing: the share the card payment via Stripe costs, in euros about 1.5 % plus €0.25 per order.
The organizer receives the full ticket price. The fee is the same for all payment methods; there is no surcharge for credit cards.
Who is the seller?
The organizer. They are the merchant of record: Let’s Rave brokers the purchase, the payment goes through the organizer’s Stripe account, and they bear Stripe fees, refunds and chargebacks. That’s why your card statement shows the organizer or Stripe, and the organizer is the contact for invoices.
On the ticket marketplace, once it is enabled, the private reseller is the seller; Let’s Rave only brokers there too, and the same booking fee applies. See Reselling a ticket.
Adding a donation
At some events you can donate an amount at checkout. The donation is shown separately and goes to the stated cause.
Receipt
The payment confirmation comes from Stripe by email. If you need an invoice, contact the organizer.
