Private rave and direct link

A private rave doesn’t appear on the map or in lists. It can only be reached via a direct link that you generate and distribute yourself.

Making it private

In Edit rave, enable Private rave (direct link only).

Creating a link

1. Tap Create link.
2. Optional: expiry date and max. views. After that, the link is invalid.
3. Share the link, via messenger, story, wherever.

You can create several links with different limits, for example one for the crew without a limit and one for social media with an expiry date.

Revoking links

Revoke links immediately invalidates all existing links. Anyone opening an old link afterwards sees “Rave not found or link invalid”. Create new links afterwards as needed.

Tip: Revoke the links if one has reached the wrong people, and hand out a new one only to those who should come.

Making it public later

Turn off Private rave. The rave then appears on the map; the direct links remain valid.
