In Let’s Rave you sell tickets in your own name as the organizer: you are the seller and merchant of record, payment runs through your own Stripe account, and Let’s Rave acts as the intermediary and only keeps the booking fee. You bear the Stripe fees as well as the risk from refunds and chargebacks. That determines invoicing, tax and liability, and it’s why onboarding is mandatory.

Onboarding

  1. Open the organization (or collective) in the app and tap Set up Stripe.
  2. You’re taken to Stripe, where you provide what Stripe needs: name or company, address, ID, bank account. These details go directly to Stripe; Let’s Rave only sees whether your account is enabled. How Stripe handles them is described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
  3. Back in the app the status shows Active once Stripe has verified everything. Until then Stripe may ask follow-up questions; answer promptly or sales stay blocked.

Refresh status fetches the current state from Stripe.

Payouts

Ticket money sits in your Stripe balance until after the event. Let’s Rave triggers the payout about three days after the event ends; that window covers refunds and chargebacks. The net ticket price is paid out; the booking fee was paid by the buyer.

Afterwards it takes another one or two business days, depending on your bank, for the money to reach your account.

Collectives

A collective can also set up a Stripe account. At the moment, however, ticket sales are settled through the organization that owns the event; settlement directly via the collective is coming.

Payment method for fees

In rare cases, for example refunds exceeding your balance, Stripe needs a payment method on file. You’ll find the link in the organization under Payment method.

The fastest way is the contact form in the app (Support → Help & Contact): it attaches your account and device details automatically.
